Cursed Painting

Markus — a hot-headed painter with an untamed imagination. Sara — a beautiful, mysterious writer who could hide more in her texts than she ever spoke aloud. They were an extraordinary pair in the Parisian bohemian scene: full of passion, emotion, secrets and artistic chaos. Just before the long-awaited opening night where you were supposed to meet them, they both vanish without a trace. For a day they haven’t answered phones or messages, and none of their friends know where they might be. Something is clearly wrong.

As their friends, you decide to search Markus’s studio — the place where his most personal paintings were born and where Sara often sought inspiration for her stories. Inside you find artistic disorder: paints, sketches, notes, unfinished works and clues that might lead to the truth. Your task is to uncover what happened before the opening. Was Markus and Sara’s disappearance an accident? Did someone try to hide their secrets? Or has the answer been hidden from the start in the paintings, texts and objects left in the studio?

This is a room with the unique atmosphere of an artist’s studio — moody, atmospheric and filled with original puzzles you won’t find anywhere else. It doesn’t rely on electronic effects or technological fireworks. Instead it focuses on clever, analog solutions, details and a mood that draws you in from the first minutes. Perfect for players who love escape rooms with soul: more mysterious than scary, more artistic than technical, and full of puzzles that reward observation, association and teamwork.
